2021 West Lake Cybersecurity Conference: Cyberspace Security Tools Presentation
Abstract
EmailSpoofingTestTools is a fuzzing tool for email sender spoofing attacks. This fuzzing tool can generate a number of test samples based on the ABNF grammar for authentication-related headers. Besides, we also provide an evaluation module to help email administrators to evaluate and increase their security.
Our research systematically analyzes the email delivery process based on the four key stages of authentication including sending authentication, receiving verification, forwarding verification and UI rendering.

Chuhan Wang is a tenure-track Associate Professor in the School of Cyber Science and Engineering at Southeast University. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Network and Information Security Lab (NISL) at Tsinghua University, under the supervision of Prof. Haixin Duan and Prof. Jianjun Chen. His research interests include network security, protocol security, web security, email security and Internet measurement.
